This opens like a door into a candlelit majlis — Golden honey, thick and sweet, incense, cold sacred smoke, myrrh, bitter-sweet resin and cigar, dry tobacco smoke unfolding over dark, opulent warmth. Then comes Oudh, dark and resinous and olibanum, bright sacred resin, and the scent turns a corner into something more tender and full. Underneath it all, Musk, soft and skin-like, patchouli, dark and earthy-sweet and leather, dark and supple hum low and steady, holding the composition together.
