Composition
A parfum for men launched in summer 2022, an intensified take on Noir Extreme from 2015. Mandarin, neroli, citruses, cardamom and ginger open it; the heart pairs Indian kulfi with Bulgarian rose, jasmine and orange blossom; the base adds amber, cedar, guaiac wood, vanilla, tonka, leather and suede. It is presented in a metallic gold flacon.
To me this smells like dessert in a five-star hotel lobby. Cardamom and ginger sparkle at the top — warm, golden spice — with mandarin and neroli adding citrus brightness. Then the kulfi arrives, and it is unmistakable: dense, creamy, pistachio-sweet, like the real thing melting on a steel plate. Bulgarian rose and orange blossom keep it floral and elegant, jasmine soft beside them, and the vanilla-leather-suede base is pure luxury — soft, warm, expensive, amber and tonka glowing underneath. It is indulgent without being heavy, sweet without being simple. Beginner-friendly.
