My Insolence is a feminine eau de toilette from Guerlain, launched in 2007. It opens with Raspberry and Citruses. The heart reveals Almond Blossom and Jasmine settling into a base of Vanilla, Tonka Bean and Patchouli. Its character is defined by Sweet, Vanilla and Floral accords.
Scent story
To me this is a raspberry tart in a Parisian pâtisserie — raspberry and citrus bright as a window display, then almond blossom and jasmine, sweet and floral, like the cream inside. The base is vanilla and tonka and patchouli, warm and gourmand, the smell of the bakery itself. It is Guerlain's playful side: sweet, pretty, and a little mischievous. Dessert as perfume. Almond blossom goes powdery-sweet at the heart. Patchouli grounds the tart with earthy depth. Tonka bean wraps it all in warm almond sweetness. Beginner-friendly.
