Composition
Mon Seul Désir (2017) by Stéphanie Bakouche is a spicy floriental leather extrait in the Les White collection, inspired by the 'La Dame à la Licorne' tapestry. Nutmeg, mandarin and pink pepper open it; osmanthus, coriander and oud form the heart; benzoin, musk, guaiac wood, amber and leather ground the base.
Mon Seul Désir is a medieval tapestry in scent: warm nutmeg and mandarin over a golden osmanthus heart, sinking into smoky leather, oud and amber. Hypnotic, caressing, dangerously magnetic -- desire woven into fabric. Beginners: rich and persistent; best on cool autumn evenings, and it rewards dressing up a little.
