A dark oriental-woody eau de parfum from Paris Corner's Emir Lueur d'Espoir series. Agarwood, incense, olibanum, leather and musk open smoky and deep, bergamot, Sichuan pepper, black orchid, jasmine sambac and rose form the heart, and patchouli, tonka bean, ambergris, vanilla and cedarwood settle the base.
Scent story
To me this smells like walking into a Mughal tomb at midnight during a storm — agarwood and incense thick in the dark air, olibanum smoldering like coals in a brazier, leather and musk pressed close like old saddle and warm skin. Sichuan pepper crackles electric at the edges, black orchid and jasmine sambac ghosting through the smoke. Underneath it all, ambergris and patchouli and tonka smolder for hours — this thing does not leave. It is magnificent and completely overwhelming, a whole empire in one spray. Not for beginners — beginners stay away.
