Tonka BeanLost in Heaven (2019) is an angelic-animalic extrait about the double nature of being human: white florals and paradise notes against a subtle dark side. Grapefruit and green tangerine open it; orange flower, jasmine, ylang, mimosa and spices form the heart; ambergris, musk, castoreum, beeswax and resins ground the base.
Lost in Heaven is paradise with a guilty conscience: sparkling citrus and orange blossom give way to narcotic jasmine and ylang, then a whisper of cumin and castoreum — sin hiding under the white flowers. Comforting, sensual, quietly disobedient. Beginners will love its floral sweetness; the animalic undercurrent is gentle, not challenging.
