The Black Knight (2019) is a gothic vetiver extrait inspired by Renaissance condottiero Giovanni dalle Bande Nere. Artemisia, caraway, honey and beeswax open it; Bulgarian rose, narcissus and iris form the heart; cedarwood, vetiver, patchouli, oakmoss and leather ground the base.
Scent story
The Black Knight is a military camp at dusk: wild shrubs and honeyed beeswax, campfire smoke over leather tack, and a powdery rose for the captain's secret mistress — all around an intense vetiver core. Stoic, dark, meditative. Beginners: intense and smoky — sample before buying.
