Composition
Named for the Lynx constellation, this luminous extrait opens with absinthe, star anise and green tea over citrus. Jasmine, iris and orange blossom bloom above a creamy vanilla, sandalwood and musk base.
To me this smells like walking into a flower market at 5am, when the bergamot, orange, grapefruit, star anise, absinthe and green tea are still wet with the night's watering and everything is opening at once. As it settles, jasmine, iris, orange blossom, fig and Bulgarian rose rise forward — like a hand on your shoulder and completely at ease. There is a thread of iris running under everything, soft as breath. What lingers is vanilla flower, vanilla bean, heliotrope, ambergris, musk and sandalwood, soft as an old sweater, like the last line of a song. Wear it when you want to smell like a handwritten letter. Beginner-friendly — an easy first step into this style.
