Composition
La Petite Robe Noire 2 is a feminine eau de parfum from Guerlain, launched in 2012. It opens with Red Berries, Galbanum, Litchi, Bergamot and Lemon. The heart reveals Marshmallow, Iris, Violet Leaf and Orange Blossom settling into a base of Leather, Musk and Sandalwood. Its character is defined by Sweet, Powdery and Fruity accords.
To me this smells like a couture atelier where someone's eating berries at the worktable. Red berries and litchi burst juicy and bright, marshmallow softens everything — pillowy, sweet, irresistible — and galbanum cuts through green and sharp, like the florist's stems in the corner. Then the leather arrives: soft, suede-like, the smell of the sample bags lined up for the show. Musk and sandalwood settle it, warm and smooth. Sweet with an edge — the good girl who knows exactly what she's doing. Beginner-friendly.
