To me this smells like a five-star hotel lobby in Mumbai at check-in — melon cold and perfect on the welcome tray, lavender clean as the pressed uniform, mandarin bright as the brass. It's the smell of being taken care of. Black pepper and artemisia add a tailored sharpness in the middle, geranium keeping it crisp as a fresh shirt, and then the base warms into something richer: tonka smooth as polished wood, patchouli earthy, labdanum resinous like the lobby's old leather chairs. Intense in name, effortless in nature. Beginner-friendly.
