Launched in 2020, Jimmy Choo I Want Oud is a woody eau de parfum for women. The opening blends Rose, Saffron and Cardamom, with Rose and Nutmeg blooming at the heart. It dries down to Oud and Benzoin.
Scent story
To me this is a rose dipped in dark honey and smoke — rose and saffron and cardamom like a spice bazaar at dusk, then more rose over nutmeg and wood, deep and velvety. The base is where the oud lives: agarwood dark and animalic, benzoin and myrrh resinous, the whole thing glowing like embers. It is the glamorous face of oud — designer-polished but still wild underneath. Luxury with teeth. Nutmeg warms the rose-oud heart like embers under velvet. Not for beginners — beginners stay away.
