Launched in 2015, Illicit is a honey eau de parfum for women. It opens with Ginger and Bitter Orange, leading into a heart of Jasmine Sambac and Orange Blossom. The dry-down rests on Honey and Amber.
To me this is honey dripping over orange blossoms at golden hour — ginger and bitter orange first, bright and spicy, then jasmine sambac, orange blossom, and rose blooming huge and white. The honey arrives like slow sunlight, thick and golden. Caramel, vanilla, amber, and sandalwood in the base turn it into warm skin and sweetness that lasts for hours. It smells like whispered secrets and unlocked doors — the name is earned. Sweet, floral, and just dangerous enough to be interesting. Beginner-friendly.
