To me this smells like the old trade route in a single breath — basil green and peppery as the port markets, Jamaican pepper hot as the haggling, the whole opening alive with commerce. It's Xerjoff's Join the Club at its most adventurous. Sandalwood and patchouli form the cargo: creamy, earthy, precious, the smell of the hold below deck. Vanilla and incense smoke it all into something golden and contemplative, like the journey's end seen through incense at a roadside shrine. Spice, wood, and the romance of distance. Beginner-friendly.
