Thierry Wasser's first creation as Guerlain's in-house perfumer (2009) is a radiant bouquet — Bulgarian and Plessis Robinson roses with litchi and raspberry, unfolding into lily-of-the-valley, lilac, peony and jasmine over musk and patchouli.
Scent story
To me this smells like walking through a rose garden with a bowl of litchi and raspberries — the tincture of rose rich and true, freesia sparkling at the edges. Then a whole bouquet unfolds: lily-of-the-valley, jasmine, lilac, peony and lily, radiant and dewy, like petals after rain. Musk and a whisper of patchouli keep it grounded and modern. It is a radiant idyll — romantic, luminous, and full of light. Beginner-friendly — a gorgeous floral done the Guerlain way.
