Homage Attar is a legendary pure perfume oil from Amouage built around Taif rose, silver incense and oud. It opens with citrus notes of orange and lemon, develops Taif rose, jasmine and silver incense in the heart, and settles into silver oud and sandalwood.
Scent story
To me this is a single drop of oil that could perfume a room. Orange and lemon flash for a moment, then the Taif rose takes over, deep red and honeyed, wrapped in silver incense smoke and jasmine. The base is silver oud melting into sandalwood, warm and resinous and endless. Attars do not project the way sprays do; they radiate from the skin in slow waves, getting richer for hours. This is the kind of perfume people in the Gulf inherit from their fathers. It is royalty, but royalty with weight. Not for beginners — beginners stay away.
