Composition
The second of Ajmal's 2014 W Series, centered on Hatkora wild lemon from Assam and Mizoram. Bright citrus and peach open onto a saffron-ginger-rose heart, drying down to a rich oud, sandalwood, ambergris and musk base.
To me this smells like Hatkora wild lemon from Assam and Mizoram — bright citrus and peach opening over wild, electric freshness. Saffron, ginger, lavender and rose spice the heart into something exotic and warm. Then the base turns rich: agarwood oud, sandalwood, ambergris, amber and musk, deep and resinous. It is Ajmal's W Series wildness: citrus above, oud below. Not for beginners — beginners stay away.
