Designer-inspired fragrance from India.
To me it smells like a black rose blooming in a ruined Turkish palace — the petals dark as dried blood, oud smoke curling through the broken arches, leather and amber glowing like the last embers of an empire. Penhaligon's Halfeti is the dark side of the rose: no romance, just power, mystery, and the beautiful melancholy of lost grandeur. In oil form it's even more funereal and more magnificent. Not for beginners — this rose has thorns of oud.
