Gatsby 22 is a unisex eau de parfum from Ormonde Jayne, launched in 2022 and inspired by the Roaring Twenties. A burst of Sicilian lemon and bergamot with pink pepper opens into osmanthus, orange blossom and violets. The base lingers with musk, vetiver, tonka bean and leather.
Scent story
To me this smells like a 1920s garden party at golden hour — Sicilian lemon and bergamot bright as champagne, pink pepper sparking, orange blossom and violet tumbling over the tables. Osmanthus adds an apricot glow, and musk, vetiver, and tonka underneath are the lawns at dusk, with just a whisper of leather from someone's driving gloves. The violet is powdery and old-Hollywood, and the tonka is warm and sweet — champagne with a powder puff, and just enough leather to keep it interesting. The Roaring Twenties, bottled: citrus, flowers, and decadence. Beginner-friendly.
