Composition
Fugit Amour (2017) by Stéphanie Bakouche is a spicy green floral musk extrait in the Les White collection, inspired by Rodin's sculpture 'Fugit Amor'. Pink pepper, elemi, ginger, cardamom and cinnamon open it; carnation alone forms the heart; vetiver, cedarwood, amber and musk ground the base.
Fugit Amour is fleeting love made solid: bright warm spices and a single carnation flower, grounded in vetiver, cedar and musk. Contained and clear rather than loud -- intimate, lasting for hours despite its quiet projection. Beginners: a gentle entry into spicy florals; the carnation heart is lovely and unintimidating.
