Composition
Feuille Verte is a chypre-floral eau de parfum for women and men by Olivier Creed and Erwin Creed, launched in 2006 as a celebration of Olivier Creed's country life in Fontainebleau. It opens with lime and mandarin orange, develops oakmoss, Bulgarian rose and vanilla in the heart, and settles into jasmine.
To me this is a walk through Fontainebleau forest after rain. Lime and mandarin sparkle bright, then oakmoss rises, dark green and earthy, with Bulgarian rose blooming wild and a thread of vanilla softening it. The vanilla is barely a whisper, just enough to take the wild edge off the moss. Jasmine in the base keeps it floral and light. It smells like country life the way Olivier Creed lived it: green, mossy, elegant, a little untamed. The oakmoss gives it depth but never darkness. Fresh air in a bottle. Beginner-friendly.
