Scent story

To me this smells like the inner sanctum of a temple after the lamps are lit. Ginger and pepper crackle like sparks, then the darkness gathers — agarwood deep and resinous, myrrh bitter and ancient, amber glowing underneath like coals that never go out. Black basil adds a strange green edge, like herbs crushed on stone. Labdanum and patchouli darken it further, until it's less a fragrance than a presence.
