Composition
Launched in 1993, Escape for Men is a woody eau de toilette for men. Melon, Eucalyptus and Mango open the scent, with Sea Notes and Birch at the heart. The dry-down rests on Oakmoss and Vetiver.
To me this smells like the Pacific Northwest coast on a grey-green morning. Melon and eucalyptus open cool and aqueous, then the sea notes roll in — salt, mist, cold air — with fir and birch rising like the forest pressing down to the water's edge. Juniper and rosemary add a herbal, windswept bite. Oakmoss and vetiver ground it like wet rock underfoot. It's the great escape in a bottle: wild, green, and gloriously far from everything. It wears like a well-worn field jacket — rugged, comforting, and better the longer you keep it. Beginner-friendly.
