Composition
A woody-aromatic eau de parfum from Paris Corner's Emir Factory Edition line. Cardamom, violet and papyrus open the scent, a powdery heart of iris and amber follows, and leather, sandalwood and cedarwood form the dry-down.
This opens like a stationery shop from another century — papyrus and iris, powdery and dry, cardamom snapping over the top. Then the leather walks in: polished, dark, expensive, like the inside of a vintage briefcase. Sandalwood and cedarwood smolder underneath with amber glowing through the seams. It is powder and leather at once, which should not work and absolutely does. Formal, deliberate, a little intimidating. The violet is the unexpected softness — powdery, purple, almost shy — floating over the leather like dust in a sunbeam. It is the contrast that makes the whole thing unforgettable.
