Composition
Valentino Donna is a 2015 Eau de Parfum for women by Sonia Constant and Antoine Maisondieu. It pairs bergamot and grapefruit with an iris, Bulgarian rose, praline and mahonial heart over leather, vanilla and patchouli. It is a powdery rose-leather chypre-floral.
Lipstick, roses and a leather handbag — Donna is old-Hollywood glamour in a studded pink bottle. It opens bright with citrus, then the powdery iris-rose heart arrives, soft and cosmetic like vintage face powder. The leather-vanilla-patchouli base is smooth and warm, like the inside of a luxury handbag. It's elegant, feminine and quietly sensual — beautiful for evenings, weddings and winter. Moderately beginner-friendly: the powdery leather character is distinctive, so sample first if you prefer simple fruity florals.
