Scent story
The 2012 Pour Homme after a glass of red wine — the aldehydes and basil are still crisp, but everything sits deeper, warmer, closer to the skin. Carnation and orange blossom smolder rather than sparkle, and the sandalwood-vanilla base turns rich and enveloping. To me it smells like the same Italian barber at closing time, jacket off, telling stories. The evening edition of a classic. Hard to go wrong with this one.
