Composition
Dans Tes Bras is a unisex eau de parfum launched by Editions de Parfums Frederic Malle in 2008, composed by Maurice Roucel. French for 'in your arms', it is an abstract woody floral musk built around cashmeran, with violet, jasmine and heliotrope over sandalwood, patchouli and white musk. Intimate and powdery, made for close encounters rather than announcements.
It opens with a cool, almost metallic violet — like the smell of fresh lipstick and clean skin — before melting into a warm, creamy heart of heliotrope and cashmeran that genuinely smells like a loved one's skin. The drydown is soft woods and white musk, powdery and close, like burying your face in a warm sweater. Projection stays intimate throughout, which is the entire point. Not a beginner's compliment-getter; it is a connoisseur's skin scent that rewards patience and quiet moments.
