To me this smells like dawn inside a Kannauj attar distillery, when the copper deghs are already steaming and the bhatti fire has been burning since 4am. There is nothing here but oud — pure, uncut agarwood oil, the real Hindi kind: animalic, honeyed, smoky, with that deep fermented sweetness that rises off hot oil like breath. No opening, no heart, no base — just oud, in three movements of itself. It is not a perfume, it is a place you carry on your skin. One drop is a whole monsoon afternoon in Assam. I love it the way you love a thunderstorm: from a respectful distance, at first. Not for beginners — beginners stay away.
