Composition
Cosmos Flower is a feminine parfum from Clive Christian's Noble VII collection, launched in 2016 as the female edition of the pair. It opens with mandarin, rum, apple and pink pepper, the heart blooming with plum, ylang-ylang, osmanthus, jasmine, violet and cosmos flower. Cacao pod, caramel, benzoin, amber and leather form the base.
This smells like a night garden party where the cocktails are strong and the flowers are stronger. Mandarin, rum and apple open — boozy, juicy, celebratory — pink pepper adding a spark, and then the florals take over: plum, ylang-ylang, osmanthus, jasmine, violet, cosmos flower, all blooming at once under the lights. Cacao pod, caramel, benzoin and amber melt the base into something dark and edible, leather adding a whisper of edge. It's Clive Christian opulence with its hair down — decadent, joyful, and impossible to ignore. Beginner-friendly.
