To me this is a night market in Bangkok — ginger tea steaming in plastic cups, ylang-ylang garlands hanging from stalls, mandarin peels underfoot. Lily of the valley and rosemary drift through like someone's garden spilling onto the street. Spices, vanilla, patchouli, and amber in the base turn it warm and golden, like the market at midnight when the cooking fires are lit and everything smells like food and flowers at once. Bay leaf keeps it aromatic and a little mysterious. Warm, spicy, alive. Beginner-friendly.
