To me this smells like rain arriving over a lily pond — you can hear it before you feel it, that metallic green hush, and then the first drops hit the water lilies and the whole garden exhales. Gardenia and jasmine rise up cool and white, peach blossom softening the edges like the sky going from grey to pearl. There is incense and sandalwood far underneath, but so quiet it feels like a memory of a temple rather than the temple itself. The most serene thing Amouage ever made. Easy to love, even for beginners.
