Scent story

To me this smells like a winter evening in Old Delhi, the kind where the fog never quite lifts. Cardamom and ginger steam off a cutting chai, blood orange adds a dark citrus glow, and elemi gives it a piney, resinous lift — like walking past a bonfire of green wood. The heart is pure comfort: bourbon vanilla and benzoin, thick and golden. But comfort with an edge — tobacco leaf, myrrh, incense smoke, cacao, and a forest of woods: guaiac, patchouli, vetiver, papyrus. It is a bonfire wrapped in velvet. Rich, dense, and far too much for a first-timer. Not for beginners — beginners stay away.
