Blu is a floral-aquatic eau de parfum for men, launched in 2013. It opens with watermelon, lavender and bergamot, develops lotus and jasmine in the heart, and settles into musk, sandalwood and amber.
Scent story
To me this smells like a July pool in Gurugram right after it has been cleaned — watermelon and bergamot bright and cold, lavender adding that crisp hotel-towel freshness. Lotus and jasmine float in the middle like they're supposed to, and musk with sandalwood and amber keeps the whole thing soft on skin for hours. It is not complicated, and that is the point. A clean reset button of a perfume. There is a watery, almost mineral coolness to it, like drinking cold water after a long run. Beginner-friendly.
