Composition
Apollonia, from Xerjoff's Shooting Stars collection, is a white-floral eau de parfum paying homage to the Apollo 11 moon landing. It opens with white flowers, reveals iris butter in the heart, and settles into a white musk base.
To me this smells like morning light through a white curtain in a room that has just been cleaned. Iris butter melting on warm skin, white flowers pressed between the pages of a diary, and musk so clean it smells like the inside of a new cotton kurta. There is nothing loud here — it is the perfume equivalent of speaking softly and meaning it. It sits close, powdery and calm, like talcum on a collarbone after a cool shower in May. The kind of scent people lean in to notice, and then never forget. Beginner-friendly.
