Composition
A carnal, sweet fragrance from the 2016 Christmas collection: mandarin, peach and coconut open into orchid and patchouli leaves, over amber, woody notes, vanilla and white musk.
To me this smells like a night market in Bangkok at 10pm — the air thick and sweet and a little indecent. Mandarin and peach drip over crushed ice next to split-open coconuts, and somewhere between the stalls a woman walks past wearing nothing but vanilla and orchid. The orchid here is not the delicate flower-show kind. It is carnal — petals crushed against warm skin, darkened by patchouli leaves until it turns almost animal. Then amber and vanilla pour over everything like syrup, with white musk keeping it smooth instead of heavy. It is unapologetic about wanting to be wanted. Sweet, tropical, and a little bit dangerous after dark. Beginner-friendly.
