Composition
An amber-spicy composition from the A Series: black pepper, bergamot, cypress and nutmeg spark the opening, rose, jasmine and saffron bloom in the heart, and cedarwood, iris, amber, sandalwood and musk warm the long dry-down.
To me this smells like a winter bonfire party on a farmhouse lawn, black pepper, bergamot, cypress and nutmeg crackling in the cold night air. Then rose, jasmine and saffron melt in, like a hand on your shoulder, like the scene settling around you. There is a thread of rose running under everything, gentle but impossible to ignore. What lingers is cedarwood, amber, musk and sandalwood, velvet-dark and calm, like the last line of a song. This is what a deep breath after good news would smell like if it had a perfume. Beginner-friendly — easy to love from the first sniff.
