Scent story
To me this is a monsoon garden in India — tagetes bright as marigolds, apple and lime and bergamot like rain on leaves, then orris and jasmine, powdery and white, like flowers after the storm. The base is leather and patchouli and oakmoss and musk, earthy and green, like the wet earth itself. It is Ajmal's amazement: fresh, citrus, and quietly wild. The subcontinent, bottled. Tagetes blaze marigold-bright at the very first spray. Orris roots the marigolds in powdery earth. Beginner-friendly.
