Composition
Maurice Roucel's 1995 ode to the Hermès flagship at 24 rue du Faubourg Saint-Honoré is a radiant white-floral — hyacinth, orange and peach melting into orange blossom, gardenia and iris over amber, sandalwood and vanilla.
To me this smells like the most beautiful shop in Paris — hyacinth, orange and peach radiant and bright. Orange blossom, gardenia and iris bloom in the heart, white florals at their most luxurious. Amber, sandalwood, patchouli and vanilla warm the base, golden and smooth. Radiant, and completely timeless. Beginner-friendly — a luminous white-floral for elegant days.
