Composition
212 Sexy by Carolina Herrera is a 2004 Oriental Floral Eau de Parfum for women by perfumer Rosendo Mateu, presented in the signature mauve capsule flacon. Pink pepper, mandarin orange and bergamot open over a heart of cotton candy, gardenia, flowers, pelargonium and rose, on a base of vanilla, musk, sandalwood, caramel, violet and patchouli.
Pink pepper and mandarin give a flirty, sparkling lift before the cotton candy heart turns it deliciously sweet — like spun sugar with gardenia petals folded in. The caramel-vanilla-musk base is warm, powdery and lingering, the kind of trail that gets noticed in a crowded room. A perfect winter and party scent for India; in summer it can feel heavy, so save it for evenings. Sweet-gourmand beginners will adore it, though those who dislike sugary scents should sample first.
