Burberry Weekend for Women was launched in 1997, created by Nathalie Lorson. Mignonette, mandarin orange and sage open over a floral heart of nectarine, hyacinth, iris and violet root, with musk, sandalwood and cedar at the base. It pairs with the men's Weekend as a relaxed everyday scent.
Scent story
To me this smells like a Saturday with no plans — mandarin orange peeled lazily at a kitchen table, sage from the garden, a small strange sweetness of mignonette like wildflowers in a jam jar. Then the nectarine arrives, juice on your fingers, hyacinth and peach blossom and rose hip like the perfume of a corner shop bouquet, iris powder soft underneath. The base is a cotton sheet and sunlight: musk clean as laundry, sandalwood and cedar like an old wooden house settling. Gentle, airy, uncomplicated joy. Beginner-friendly.
