Verna is a unisex extrait de parfum from Tiziana Terenzi, launched in 2025 and created by Paolo Terenzi, inspired by Vernazza in the Cinque Terre. It opens with Saffron, Pink Pepper and Bulgarian Rose, reveals a heart of Ylang-Ylang, Coconut, Incense, Ambergris, Tuberose, Peach, Cedarwood, Leather and Indian Jasmine, and settles into Madagascar Vanilla, Ambergris, Coumarin, Musk, Fennel and Fern. Its character is defined by sweet, vanilla and warm spicy accords.
To me this smells like a spring festival in a palace courtyard — saffron and pink pepper sparkling in the first breath, Bulgarian rose blooming huge and velvety. Then everything arrives at once: coconut creamy, peach juicy, tuberose and jasmine white and heady, incense curling through it all like celebration smoke. Vanilla, ambergris, and musk at the base are warm skin and golden light. It is extravagant, joyful, and completely over the top — in the best way. Coumarin's hay-sweet warmth hums underneath, like sun on dry grass. Beginner-friendly.
