Composition
Vanitasby Versaceis a Floral fragrance for women.Vanitaswas launched in 2011. The nose behind this fragrance is Dora Baghriche. Top note is Lime; middle notes are Tiare Flower and Freesia; base notes are Virginia Cedar and Tonka Bean.
To me it smells like walking through a flower market in Bangkok at dusk. Lime peels are crushed underfoot, tiare garlands hang over every stall, and buckets of fresh freesia perfume the humid air. The virginia cedar and tonka bean sit underneath like the warmth of wooden crates in the evening heat — sweet, a little creamy, grounding all that brightness. It is tropical and dreamy, like a holiday you never want to end, and it wears close and soft rather than shouting. Hard to go wrong with this one.
