Composition
The original Tous men's scent by Gilles Romey: spicy ginger and Sichuan pepper with Brazilian orange and grapefruit give way to a bitter-sweet heart of Campari, red apple and pineapple, over sandalwood, white musk, cedar, tonka and amber.
To me this smells like walking into a pine forest an hour after rain, ginger, Sichuan pepper, Brazilian orange and grapefruit green and cool against the damp bark. Underneath, campari, red apple and pineapple start to bloom, smooth as poured honey. Hours later it rests on sandalwood, white musk, cedar, tonka bean and amber — quietly magnetic, the part that stays with you. It smells like somewhere you have always wanted to be, bottled. Beginner-friendly — just know it arrives before you do.
