Composition
Tommy is Tommy Hilfiger's iconic 1995 masculine Eau de Toilette by Annie Buzantian and Alberto Morillas, the all-American citrus-aromatic that defined 90s fresh perfumery. Mint, bergamot, grapefruit and lavender open over a heart of Granny Smith apple, cranberry and rose, on a clean base of cotton flower, cactus and amber. The clear flacon with the red-white-and-blue flag stripe is instantly recognizable.
A blast of mint and grapefruit with lavender freshness — clean, green and sparkling like a just-mowed American lawn in spring. Tart Granny Smith apple and cranberry keep the heart crisp, and the dry-down is soft cotton-flower musk with a whisper of amber. In India this is a perfect daily office and college scent for hot weather; it won't offend anyone within a ten-foot radius. The ultimate beginner fragrance — inoffensive, fresh and endlessly easy to wear.
