Composition
Julie Pluchet's modern take on Victorian cologne for the 150th anniversary: sparkling lime, bitter orange and ginger over lavender, mint, coriander and nutmeg, grounded in vetiver, musk, amber and leather. Refined, green and effortlessly elegant.
To me this smells like morning light through an open window — Lime, sharp and electric-green, bitter orange, zesty and green-edged and ginger, bright and fiery crisp and sparkling on the air. Then comes Lavender, clean and calming, mint, icy and green, coriander, citrusy-green spice and nutmeg, warm and sweet-spicy, and the scent turns a corner into something more tender and full. The aromatic character never leaves — it is the quiet backbone of the scent. Finally Vetiver, green and earthy, musk, soft and skin-like, golden amber, warm and glowing and leather, dark and supple remain, like embers glowing softly under everything. Wear this when you want the room to lean in a little closer. Beginner-friendly — approachable from the very first sniff.
