The One for Men Eau de Toilette by Dolce & Gabbana, launched in 2008. A woody spicy fragrance for men. It opens with grapefruit, coriander and basil, has a heart of cardamom, ginger and orange blossom, and a base of tobacco, amber and cedar.
Scent story
To me this smells like golden hour in an old Italian courtyard. Grapefruit and basil open fresh and green, coriander adding a warm, almost curry-leaf spice. Cardamom and ginger heat the middle while orange blossom floats above it all, honeyed and white. Then the tobacco arrives — soft, sweet, smoky — over amber and cedar, like a cigar just lit on a stone terrace. Warmth you can wear. Easy to love, even for beginners.
