Composition
An oriental-vanilla gourmand eau de parfum for women from Maison Alhambra. Cake and carrot open with the warm scent of freshly baked carrot cake, hazelnut, almond, cheesecake and cinnamon enrich the heart, and vanilla, musk, amber and sandalwood settle the creamy base.
To me this smells like my grandmother's kitchen on a winter afternoon, when the gajar ka halwa is on the stove — except here it's the full carrot cake fantasy. Warm cake, toasted hazelnut and almond, a thick layer of cheesecake-cream frosting, and cinnamon dusted over everything like the first snowfall. Vanilla and amber make it glow from within, like the oven light left on. It's unapologetically sweet — there's no pretense of sophistication here, no 'notes of'. It smells like being eight years old and allowed to lick the spoon. Comfort, frosted. Beginner-friendly.
