Composition
A fresh, aromatic-leather take on the Sheikh line in the spirit of YSL Y: crisp lemon, lemongrass, sage and lavender open with cool, barbershop-style energy before a modern heart of supple leather, velvety rose, warm cardamom, rosemary and green mimosa. A woody-amber dry-down of cedar, oakmoss, amber, vanilla and musk keeps it smooth and versatile — an elegant, long-lasting everyday men's fragrance with a touch of personality.
To me this smells like standing at a roadside juice stall while someone squeezes lemongrass, lemon, sage and lavender over a mountain of crushed ice. Give it a few minutes and leather, rose, cardamom, rosemary and mimosa melt, rounded and full. The drydown is all cedar, oakmoss, amber, vanilla and musk, rounded, never sharp. This is what the front row of your own life would smell like if it had a perfume. Beginner-friendly — just know it arrives before you do.
