To me this smells like a spice garden on a tropical island — everything growing at once, everything fragrant. Coconut, mugwort, lavender, cardamom, carrot and bergamot open in a wild green burst, creamy and herbal and strange, like a market you have never visited before. It is exotic in the truest sense: genuinely foreign, genuinely thrilling. Orris, jasmine, lily-of-the-valley, freesia and cinnamon bloom into the heart — powder and flowers and warm spice all at once — and cypriol, musk, patchouli, ambergris, benzoin and labdanum settle underneath, dark and resinous and deep as jungle shade.
