Dhanal Oudh Estethnay by Rasasi is an eau de parfum unisex, launched in 2014. It opens with Bulgarian Rose and Spices; the heart features Rose, Jasmine, Heliotrope and Lily-of-the-Valley; and the base is Vanilla, Indian Oud, Sandalwood, Cashmere Musk and Amber. The composition reads predominantly floral, woody and powdery.
Scent story
A rose garden built on top of a temple. Bulgarian rose blooms huge and velvety, jasmine and lily of the valley lift it bright — and then the Indian oud rises underneath: deep, animalic, barnyard-dark, with sandalwood smoke curling through. Vanilla and amber try to sweeten it; heliotrope powders the edges. It is the classic Middle Eastern rose-oud pairing at full power. Magnificent and merciless. The cashmere musk is impossibly soft — like the oud wearing velvet gloves. It doesn't tame the beast; it just makes it elegant. Not for beginners — beginners stay away.
