Composition
Purple Flowers is an eau de parfum for women by Mancera, launched in 2017. It opens with fig tree, black pepper, ginger, nutmeg and Sicilian mandarin, moves through rose, patchouli and cedar, and dries down to white musk, Madagascar vanilla and ambergris. Woody, spicy and rosy, it is a bold, high-energy floral in Mancera's signature powerful style.
The opening is electric — spicy ginger and black pepper over green fig and zesty mandarin, like a masala chai crossed with a fruit orchard. Then the rose arrives, full and jammy, grounded by earthy patchouli and dry cedar. The vanilla-ambergris dry-down is warm and musky, softening the spice into something cosy. It is loud, confident and very Mancera — projection for days. Best for evenings and winter; in Indian heat it can overwhelm. Moderately beginner-friendly for those who like bold florals, but the spice-fig opening is unusual enough to sample first.
